Quilt Stories

“To quilt is to live in a world where beauty is created from scraps, and every thread tells a story.”
—Jennifer Chiaverin

Join us for a very special weekend of Swamp Gravy while we display local quilts and the stories that go along with them. We will be hosting a quilt show on October 23rd and 24th to display these handmade gems of history and love. Friday Night the quilts will be on display from 6:00 to 7:00pm. Saturday the caretakers and creators of the quilts will be here to share their stories. Display times for Saturday the 24th are 1:00 to 2:00pm and again from 5:00 to 6:00pm.

October 23, 2026 from 5 to 6pm  October 24, 2026 from 1 to 2pm and 5 to 6pm

Submissions are now open for those who would like their quilt to be considered for the Quilt Stories quilt show. Submissions are limited to one per person. If there is a generational tradition of quilt making, we would be open to considering displaying those quilts together. (Example: A grandmother’s quilt layered with a mother’s and a daughter’s, etc.)
