There’s something about a river… how it just keeps moving, washing away what came before. So much of life happens there—love, loss, laughter. A Stone’s Throw delves into the true stories of Colquitt— the Bootleggers brewing moonshine, an older couple getting up to no good, a family grappling with loss.
Swamp Gravy: A Stone’s Throw is meant to be a celebration of how our community sticks together even when we are apart. Each story—through laughter or tears—is intended to help us connect and understand how the actions in our lives ripple throughout the lives of others.
One of the stories included in this edition of Swamp Gravy explores a family’s grief in the aftermath of losing a child to suicide. While we do not show any moments of self-harm within the script, we do show the pain that ripples throughout the family and community.
